Explaining the process up to phase two of the My Porsche app website order tracking system.
Looking at the invitation for the Porsche Experience Centre in phase 2 and how you can choose what model you can experience.
Once you have submitted your order at the Porsche dealer and your deposit has been paid you will be entered into the system and will receive an invitation to attend the Porsche experience centre. When I ordered my Porsche 718 GTS 4.0 the invitation was processed within a month and I received my email.
The Porsche experience centre offers a free half day in the model of your choice with a Porsche driving instructor to learn about the car you have ordered. It also allows you to drive the car on their tracks and put it through different conditions with an instructor helping you handle the car.
I also cover how long you have to complete a Porsche driving experience from the day you receive the invitation so you do not need to complete it straight away or in the model that you have ordered. You can also take a guest who can complete the same type of experience at a cost and I cover here how my guest and I shared driving 2 different cars on the day.
