Comparing the Porsche 992 Carrera 2 with other brands 2 door sports coupes by both price and performance figures.
How much do other manufacturers 2 door sports coupes cost? How do HP / PS figures compare for the money?
When I first ordered my Porsche 992 Carrera I didn't check the market to see what other cars were out there. I always wanted to own a Porsche 911 so I never checked to see what other brands had to offer for the same or similar money.
The base 992 Carrera C2 starts now at £85,000 in the UK before any taxes or options are added. My Porsche 992 with options now costs over £86,000 before driving away on the road. I have checked the market and found 10 alternative cars which follow the same or similar features.
The Porsche car alternatives I looked at all needed to be 2 doors sports coupes with a minimum of 2 seats. The cars needed to have at 385 PS (380HP) with a 0-62mph time of around 4 seconds.
I have looked at other car manufacturers that are available in the UK and compared the 992 c2 with sports car coupes from BMW, Mercedes, Lotus, Audi, Lexus, Ford & Jaguar.
